Emerging Technologies- Facebook Timeline

I Think Facebook will continue to make new features like the timeline because it increases their revenue which is 85% owned by advertisements. This will increase on how user friendly Facebook is, and that people will continue using the site for more than just status updates. The thing that surprised me the most was how much of the revenue was owned by advertisements and why they are changing the look of Facebook, of course for their profit to increase. This will probably continue to be the most visited site on the internet by users for the next 15 years at least.
