Emerging Technologies- Facebook Timeline

I Think Facebook will continue to make new features like the timeline because it increases their revenue which is 85% owned by advertisements. This will increase on how user friendly Facebook is, and that people will continue using the site for more than just status updates. The thing that surprised me the most was how much of the revenue was owned by advertisements and why they are changing the look of Facebook, of course for their profit to increase. This will probably continue to be the most visited site on the internet by users for the next 15 years at least.

Pixenate was the easiest to work with. In aviary you could do advanced things similar to Photoshop and Gimp. Lunapic was the easiest to upload photos to other sites such as Facebook and Photobucket

Cloud Computing

The owner of Megaupload Kim Schmitz was charged in court for making money on illegal profits from advertsing revenue and premium memberships of megaupload. Megaupload is a site for people who can download stuff for free without copyright.

New Technology (iOS 5)

Finally apple has released ios 5 which has a couple new features and has a more crisp look.
New Features

• Notification Bar
• Changed Text Messaging- iMessage
• Save on money with iMessage using wifi. (iPhones Only)
• iCloud
• Sync over wifi with iTunes
• Switch out apps and arrange on iTunes
• Twitter Integration

Icons and backgrounds are more crisp and HD now.
